Myth #1: Electrons flow from Positive to Negative (Conventional vs. Electron Flow)

Myth #2: Birds can sit on a power line because they have something special about their claws (MIT's Answer)

Myth #3: Those are telephone wires!

As a class have the students come up with 5 facts about electrical power. Vote to see if everyone agrees that the facts are true (as a teacher feel free to add a few of the "myths" listed above or your own)

Have the students try to verify their answers with the resources provided or a web search.

Use the Terms & Formulas activity to gather more information about electrical energy.

This is an exposure level activity - ensure that all of the students have had the opportunity to watch the videos and complete the Terms & Formulas activity

Have the students continue to write facts/myths in their engineering notebook for this project over the course of the other Pathway activities.
