Current solar thermal systems all have fundamental challenges. Either they are large thermal mass projects that are expensive and too large for this purpose or they are small thermal evacuated tubes that do not retain heat for a long enough period of time.
A thermal mass solar thermal system that is both robust and portable.
- It must follow all safety guidelines and pass safety inspection
- It must reach a temperature of 175 C
- It must maintain the 175 C temperature for 1 hour after removing direct sunlight
